Warm milk on stove until about 125 degrees (until steaming). If you buy canned whole coconut milk, diluted with water in a 1:1 ratio.
In order to add in the egg yolks, beat them lightly in a bowl first. While stirring the yolks, add in 1/4 cup of the steamer slowly into the yolks. Once incorporated and warmed through, pour the contents of the bowl slowly into the pan while stirring.
Stir in maple syrup and vanilla and pour into your favorite mug.
You can also turn this into hot cocoa by adding in 2 tsp of cocoa powder.
*I recommend only using eggs that you know exactly where they came from – not store-bought eggs.
