Basket of red clover blossoms my husband won’t let me feed him

Last week I was incredibly excited to find a local grass-fed meat producer at the Farmer’s Market I go to. I made sure to pick up some grass-fed and nitrate free beef bacon and beef pepperoni, it was delicious on top of our Saturday night homemade gluten free pizza. I’ll definitely be going back for more throughout the summer!

I recently found a patch of wild red clover across the street from my house so my children and I went out last weekend and picked a large basket of blossoms. My husband came out to see why we were in the field, took one look at me, and commented “Seriously? You’re not going to eat those are you?” Why, yes honey…I am.

I guess he won’t be wanting to drink any of my red clover tea!

I washed and dehydrated them all and have enjoyed them in the Fertility Tea Blend I made for myself. This is one of my new favorite drinks! I let the herbs infuse until the water is room temp, add honey, and refrigerate it. (I love cold herbal tea, but hot herbs taste like grass to me. lol)
